    To accomplish this, the team and I established a visual language that invoked both the dynamicism of the company culture and the value of working with Kinetica Print as a supplier.

    Expanding into Italian cuisine, RCR Brands were building a restaurant that would be family-friendly, nostalgic, yet modern and they needed a brand to match that vision.

    The solution was to take classic Italian colours and give them an updated spin. Rich, saturated green and gold were chosen for the main colours with deep savoy blues, wine reds, and pasta yellows in to support.

    Novecento Slab was employed to provide a bold, but friendly impact to headlines and Filson Pro was selected to lend some softness to any body copy.

    Tying everything together are the patterns one might find on a cavarola board to provide more visual interest.

    Taking their first steps into the exporting business, Jakin Group needed a solid foundation to launch from. Mella Honey; a premium Canadian honey was the result.

    Intended for Japan’s luxury goods market, the goal was to design something high-end, but inherently non-Japanese, as foreign products were perceived to be superior in this space. Rich, saturated blues, golds, and a serifed typeface did much of the heavy lifting to achieve this.

    Expanding into Edmonton for their first foray into the Canadian market, a California Pizza Kitchen franchisee sought to create new print assets and update their main menus to fit Canadian tastes. Following established branding while still satisfying the client’s desired changes, was key in the success of this project.

    Serving the Lower Mainland since 1926, Macdonald’s Prescriptions wanted a way to modernize and continue their legacy of exceptional customer service. To achieve this, a cleaner, consolidated website and e-commerce store was designed. Large headlines and full-width layouts were employed to better assist an older demographic.
